Why music, always.
I grew up with music before I grew into computers. An early education in it taught me balance, discipline, and creativity: things I still lean on every day, just usually in front of a different kind of keyboard.
It's been with me at every stop. At BITS Pilani I ran open mic nights and directed a musical play with 50+ juniors for our cultural fest. These days it's simpler: after work, a guitar, a phone camera, and a cover of whatever I've been humming.
My favorite part is a little quest I've given myself: record a song in every Indian language I can learn to sing in. Bengali. Tamil. Hindi. English. Learning a song in a language I don't speak forces me to really listen, and every language carries feeling differently.
My singing teacher taught me something I didn't expect from a music lesson: technique gets you in tune. Understanding the weight a song carries is what actually moves someone listening.
That's the whole appeal, honestly. Code compiles or it doesn't. A song either lands in someone's chest or it doesn't, and you can't unit-test that. So I just keep showing up.
